Although, not too evident in the swatches, in terms of color there are very subtle differences to China Glaze For Audrey and ORLY Gumdrop. For Audrey leans more blue while Gumdrop has more green. It's very subtle, so I wouldn't be surprised if a person could not tell the difference. Gumdrop is also a touch bit lighter than For Audrey.
The biggest difference between these polishes are the opacity and the application. Both have relatively similar formulas, not too liquidy and not too thick. However, Gumdrop is much more opaque in the first coat as you can see and it does not streak like For Audrey. Of course, For Audrey even out by the second coat, but I would much rather you one coat rather than two. Not only do you get to use less of the polish, but you also get .1 floz more with ORLY than most polish brands like OPI, China Glaze, and Zoya.
So overall, I think it's obvious that I prefer ORLY Gumdrop over China Glaze For Audrey. I think because they are so similar, you could definitely get away with buying only one.
